LBA Education Committee launches Riglam School website

Dec: 21st 2022' was an exceptionally eventful day at the leh LBA office with the assemblage of its Education Committee and other stakeholders of the Association headed by Sh Tsering Lakrook  launched the official Website of the LBA supported Riglam school & hostel . This in undoubtedly a significant milestone stone and red lettered day for the school to rejoice and celebrate as it enables the institution to be in the mainstream of well connected schools. Riglam majorly being a charitable establishment functions  to support the distressed and destitute section of the community that needs empowerment through Education. It works forefront to provide modern wholesome Education and residential facilities to the children from far-flung remotely placed areas of ladakh. Children from families with dire needs are given priority such are the cases of : Orphans, Semi-orphans & children from broken families. Such community based projects are heavily dependent on  generous and kind donors.
The meeting commenced with Mr. Mepham Gyaltson’s Welcome note followed by  Website Overview Presentation by Mr. Tundup CEO overland Escape.
With the aim and objective to provide the much needed leverage and empowerment to both the LBA supported schools of Riglam and Jamyang Khaltse, the vision and mission to create a website for mass reach and transparency was audaciously dreamt by  LBA President Mr Thupstan Chhewang and his Education Committee. This noble and selfless cause attracted more people with similar sense of belief and contribution. Mr Tundup Dorjey CEO of the Overland Escape ( also member in our Fund Raising Committee ) stepped in to sponsor & coordinate in the creation of this website. The website creation was a challenging task at hand and with much bending over backwards within a period of 40 days the team accomplished the commitment . Mr Tsering Dorje Lakrook,  extolled the Stupendous achievement and lauded the altruistic contribution made by Mr Tundup@ Overland Escape and simultaneously equally appreciated the Education Committee members headed by Sh Eshay Tundup, Ms. Stanzin kunzang, Chottness ( content writer) Mr. Meham Gyaltson Sabu Spon (Coordinator) Mr. Gelek Phunchok Lonpo ( Coordinator) Principal Riglam and the Education committee overall for the remarkable achievement. Mr Tsering Dorje in his closure notes earnestly requested the public to visit the website ( www.riglam.org) and generously help and support the children at the school and hostel.
